The Phase II of the Baoding project, which has the annual capacity of 300,000 tons of PET milk beverage and the Hengshui project of Mengniu Dairy Company Limited started production on August 22, 2012.
The Phase II of the Baoding project is located at the industrial district of Wangdu County. It has three production lines. The total investment is close to RMB 700 million. The annual capacity is 300,000 tons of PET milk beverages. The sales revenue is expected to reach RMB 3 billion. It can also offer 400 jobs and contribute RMB 85 million in tax.
The Hengshui project consists of the supporting ranch and milk processing plant. It is located at the modern agricultural district of Wuqiang County. It covers 5,500 acres, with 42 acres for the plant and the rest for the ranch. 30,000 cattle can be raised in the ranch. Pasture is planted in the modern means. Cattle are raised in the intensive way. Milk is processed in the intelligent means. The products are of superior quality and high end. It only takes 24 minutes from milking to packaging. The protein content is over 3.8%. The project is the leader of the industry in China. It also practices the recycling economy model. Based on environmental protection, pasture feeds cattle which produce milk and also fertilize the pasture.
