COFCO Corporation and Anhui Provincial Goverment signed the strategic agreement on agricultural investment on September 23, 2011.
According to the agreement, COFCO will invest RMB 15 billion during the 12th Five-Year Plan period in Anhui Province to develop projects of grain and oil storage, logistics, feed processing, oilseed processing, etc. COFCO will also build comprehensively funcational industrial parks in Bengbu and Chaohu, integrating grain and oil storage and logistics, grain, oil and food processing, and feed processing.
